i have the 8703e from telus. My kid drop my phone causing the screen to be cracked, having still 9 months of the contract left telus wont give me much of a deal to go into another phone,,Instead of purchasing the new curve for 250.00 bucks i purchase 2 BB's on ebay that were on the verizon network,(they are also 8703e) at 25.00 a phone a thought i couldnt lose.
Go down to telus this evening and they say i can't use the phones.. Its seems that Telus uses the big brother theme and registers all their phones that they purchase from RIM, eliminating people buying other phones and using them on their system.. Is there a way around this.
