I keep losing signal strength on my BB 8703e even in open area outside I get only one bar, anybody else having this problem or know how to fix this issue?

Have you tried pulling the battery to see if it gets better? Do you have another phone with Bell? How is the signal in the exact same area? If the other phone has good signal in the same location compared to the Berry, it may be a bad radio. If it still has warranty, you should talk to Bell about getting it exchanged. Just so you know, they may want you to reload the OS as part of troubleshooting.

my wife has another 8703e BB and it works great now i started losing signal strength after when i download the new OS 4.2 to it...

well, if the battery pull doesn't help, I'd say contact Bell and see what options they give you.
