Thumbs up Say hello to my [9700's] little friend!

This is my Bold's little brother. His name is Bob. He takes over when my 9700 is tired... or AT T-MOBILE FOR REPLACEMENT.

Anybody ever play with one of these before? It's not the oldest, but sure is a classic!!! Never broke down on me, never broke, never gave me problems. As reliable as the sun

Yup! Same here. It's still an amazing blackberry. I still favor its keyboard to anything RIM has ever made

Yes. The trackball was not introduced until the Pearl 8100.

That is one truly hideous looking phone though.

I love it. Yes the thumbwheel is so awesome. Feels so right in the hand, this phone. The phone just flies. No lag, ever

LOL. You think it should be "your" what? Did you mean "your's"? No thanks, Ive had several 8700s on AT&T. Im kind of partial to having a media card that I can actually store more than 10 pics on, a camera, a device that I can have more than 3 apps on, and oh yeah, a device that I can browse the internet for more than 5 hours without having to charge the battery.

I still use my 8700 all the time. I keep it on hand for when I don't want to worry about dropping or breaking the 9700 or the iPhone. Great workhorse phone.

I threw it off a two story balcony once and then and a brick wall just to show how durable it was. Still works great to this day.

My 9000 is my backup, only issue with that thing was that the bezel is squeaky.

My Curve 8320(?) for T-Mo is my backup but every once in a while I pull out the 7100t. That phone has been droppes, kicked, puddled, and God only knows what else and how many times and still is kicking!

the 8700s are tanks. I had mine for a whole year, and not a problem. haha for a joke i ran over one the other day. a few scuffs, but it was fine! My 9700 would explode if i ran over it!
