All,

Occasionally my 8700 will simply just change its time. I originally purchased the phone in Southern Ca, but now live in Texas and travel extensively to the East Coast. About every 2 - 3 weeks the phone will simply change the time back to PST without warning.

I searched the BB site, but found nothing about this. This has been happening for about 6 months and I do have the DST patch.

Anyone else experience this? Any ideas?

Do you have the time, in settings, set to 'blackberry' or 'network'? Try it as 'network' if it's not already set to that...

Try what Navilyn said, but that's really strange and I have not heard of that before.

Hi and thanks for the replies. Yes, my time setting is set to network vs blackberry. This really is the strangest thing and have not found anything. Maybe it's time to call in the big guns :-)

Very well might be a defective unit. Might want to try a warranty replacement if it's still under warranty.
