    Hi everyone,

I always work with this BB and the OS 4.1 and everything always work like a charm.

Today, i decided to update to 4.5 but i am finding some problems.

1 - Every time i tried to update this BB via desktop manager, the software told me that i am using the latest version, so i wiped the BB with JL_CMder and juster after i updated the BB. Why?

2 - Every time i made the update to the 4.5, the BB just don't restart in the first time, i need remove the battery wait for 20 seconds, and turn it on again, so the OS start. Why?

3 - ( URGENT AND IMPORTANT) always that i enter in the 4.5 OS, everything works fine, apps, games, etc etc etc, but whan i turn radio on, the BB reset, and never start again. Stiill in a kind of loop, restarting, always.
    How can i solve this?
    i alway tried this OS:
    8700M_PBr4.5.0_rel75_PL2.7.0.66_A4.5.0.52_Orange_R omania.exe
    8700M_PBr4.5.0_rel75_PL2.7.0.66_A4.5.0.52_TIM_Ital y.exe
    8700EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel254_PL2.7.0.105_A4.5.0.16 1_SmarTone_Vodafone.exe

    Can anyone please help me?

Did you delete the vendor.xml file before you tried to upgrade?

Sounds like a bad install, I would wipe the device and reinstall the os.

Check out this step by step guide to upgrade--> How to Install or Upgrade to a New RIM BlackBerry Operating System (OS) with AppLoader | CrackBerry.com

Your wiping the device with jl_cmdr. When wiping are you getting the 507 error? Thats what you want. When its done upgrading it will sit there with the hourglass spinning for about 20 to 30 minutes. DO NOT UNPLUG it until it reboots on its own. You may want to try this OS. http://forums.crackberry.com/f6/newe...nguage-129985/

    Sergiobz,

4.5 OS won't work with 8707 the highest os it can use is only 4.2 its device specific.

Plus the memory in 8707 is too small to catewr for higher os such as 4.5

Make sure you delete the vendor file BEFORE you install the os file. I ran into a similar NO UPDATE scenario and did a re-install of the os download and there it was. This was on an 8703e. Maybe I just lucked out, who know.
