password help

so my other phone broke and i just activated another 8703 and i cant seem to turn the password off and when i go to bb manger it dosent take the same pass as the phone and end up resetting the phone and ideas??

The Desktop Manager uses the same password as the phone. A very common error is to use a shifted password without realizing it. For example, you thought your password was "wert" but you actually entered "123(" due to the Alt being on.

You have to enter the password on the BlackBerry to turn off the password. That's a security feature to prevent someone who doesn't know the password from disabling it.

its not giving me the option to turn off the password just change it.... and 0123 is the same on the phone and comp
but i will try 0wer when its finished restoring all my data
