Hi, Upgraded my ATT 8700c last night with no problem. I had to do one more step than listed, which was restore using "backup/restore" - but maybe that's implied.

This upgrade looks good, It will keep me happy for the next 2 weeks waiting for the Storm to come out.

It works!
I have 8700v on vodafone Romania I just did the update and it works, although the phone is somewhat slower with the new software. But who cares, I can copy files on it now
It scared me a bit, it showed me the hourglass for around 20 minutes, but I waited for it and eventually it continued the upgrade.

i have the old blackberry 8700, v4.5.0.55 (platform 2.7.0.68) with the scroll wheel at the side. which new OS can i put on this phone and what are the disadvantages that are there?
