I've recently upgraded my 8703e OS to the 4.2 (I believe 4.2.1 version, but all I can see in Advanced Settings is 4.2). Since I have not been able to APPLY any of my third-party themes. The option to APPLY doesn't even appear on my options menu. Is anyone else having this issue or have suggestions to correct? I've recently bought some cool new themes and can't use...

There are currently no other themes for the new OS on BB website

If the theme is not supported at the software release level you cannot apply. I had several broken also.
