New blackberry user - need set up help!

Hi everyone, I just bought a used BB 8700g from ebay. My carrier is ATT, and the phone works for calls. However, I cannot get anything going for my email or web browsing. Here is what I do:

For email:
Setup wizard>Email setup>
here it only gives me the option to "use a work email account with a BB enterprise server"
I just want to use gmail...
I've tried going through with my gmail credentials, but to no avail--it won't activate.

Also, I downloaded the desktop manager but I'm not sure how to transfer files (esp. installation files, e.g., Opera).

Any help would be great, thanks!!!

I had this issue with mine through VZW. I had to call and have them delete the account then reassign it as BIS vs BES. Not sure how ATT works but i'm sure help is on the way!

Quick update--I figured out how to add opera...but still need help with gmail!!

I called ATT and they helped me through the process...I think I am set for now. Thanks, Triton

Definitely call att they will see if the berry is attached to another account.
