Hi guys i just took over a 8707G, i know its kinda old and i just upgraded it and i realised that the web browser icon is gone. can anyone help me with it? . . I guess its probably because I'm not on any blackberry data plan. I'm on a serperate data plan because i have another smart phone, Is there any other way for me to get the web browser icon back without having to sign up for the black berry data plan. Hope that someone can help me with it.

Use the app loader via your desktop manager. Select the browser icon and continue the update. It should appear then.

Have you tried resending your Service Books from BIS (assuming you are on BIS)?

If so, I would call T-Mobile, get through to BlackBerry support and speak to them.
