I just bought a BB off craigslist. Is there a difference between an 8703 and an 8703e? How can I tell the difference? How can I tell whether the latest OS is installed? This is my first BB so far it's a mixed reaction. Also, it appears that there're certain apps that just don't work quite right with my phone, is this normal (i.e. Myspace)?
options/about to find out what you have. To wipe the device so you can use it as "fresh out of the box" go to options/security options/general options and hit the wheel. Then selecet wipe handheld. Now you have rock em stock em. The 8703e as far as I know only supports 4.2.1.100 at this time.
