This is VERY useful.scroll to the newest date, press menu>delete prior
And my 8707g (OS 4.1) doesn't allow ALT+Scroll to select multiple. Can't upgrade as my company is very strict on software.

On Storm 2 there is not delete prior that everybody keeps talking about in multiple forums. Does anybody know how to mass delete on the Storm?

Sure there is! Just select the date you want on the Storm2's list of email, then press the BB button and select delete prior.
Also to delete a range of emails, you can tap the top one and the bottom one on the screen at the same time and select that whole range and then press the BB button and select delete to delete that whole range.

PK, I just followed your steps to delete prior and cannot find that selection on the BB menu. I highlighted an e-mail, pressed the BB button, and am only offered the choice of deleting that particular e-mail, nothing about prior. Am I missing something. I can easily select a range, but that gets tiresome scrolling through pages and pages of e-mails until I get to the end of the range that I want to delete. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Just did it on my Bold 9900
Scroll to your last email.
Depress and hold the shift key (bottom left or bottom right keys)
Scroll to the end of your email list highlighting all emails.
Depress the (del) key on the keyboard.
VOILA! they are all deleted.
