Apparently I downloaded the wrong theme.

Now, of course I get the timer bar in the middle of a flashing on and off screen, the 8703e keeps powering up and down.

US Cellular tech support could not help.

Downloaded the Desktop Manager and the OS to reload, but the BB is sending no signal through the USB. The computer does not recognize that anything is plugged into the USB. Have tried other devices in the same port, all recognized.

I'd try a battery pull first and if that does not work you will know its time to recover that dead berry. Good luck.

Try removing the the theme In your bb desktop manager under remove/add applications.... The issue your having is called an incomplete wake up it should still connect to the desktop manager but if not try calling bb I belive there is a way to kick start it. The same thing happend to mine I just called and they gave me a code while it was rebooting and it shut the phone down for 5 minutes and rebboted to the default settings. This just might work for you.

I do not remeber the code it was on a 8703e
