I bought a used unlocked 8700r. It worked for fine for this couple weeks but then without notice the screen will occasionaly go gray. I didn't drop it or do any kind of ocsmetic damage to the phone. I also tried a soft reset and even restored the blackberry to its factory settings but still nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I've not heard of a gray screen. Is it a blank screen? Is there an hourglass? Can you explain a little more? It sounds like the hardware is defective but need a little more info.
yeah i guess it would be more white my backlight doesn't come on but now that i think about it when the black light does come on it is white and no there is no hour glass. the weird thing is that if i let it sit for a little bit (it ranges from a couple to minutes to a couple hours) then it will come back to my home screen
