Is there a shortcut on the 8700g to bring up the menu? I dropped my phone and oddly the only thing that broke is the click function. I can scroll and use the wheel fine but 90% of the functions I want/need to do are controlled with the push of the wheel. I am now using a curve but my wife was thinking of taking my old 8700 but just cannot do much without the options menu working.
Sorry to say but you 8700 is now broke. That's why they made a bb button on the pearl and up models just in case that happened.
I used to have a 8700r and it happened to me and without the menu button it has now become my back only bb
