Can I delete the BB browser? on my 8700g

Hi, Im new to Crackberry (allready love the site) can I delete the BB browser and if I do will I lose any functions ? I want to use the Bolt browser I find it must easier to use , it allows me to move the curser anywhere I want on the webpage

i wouldn't recommend it because you can only d/l stuff using the bb browser and if you get quicklaunch buttons like cb or espn they use that browser

You can't delete the browser. All you can do is remove the icon, which will return the next time service books get sent to the device.

While Bolt is an excellent secondary browser, the native BB browser is needed for downloading OTA apps, etc, and cannot be removed. If you wish, simply hide the icon and continue using Bolt for your browsing needs.
