I will go to Japan for 3 months this September. I'm using an old-model 8700g and I don't want to leave it at home because it's my favorite phone ever. I've researched about BIS in Japan and found out that DoCoMo is the only carrier supporting BIS.
Anyone in Japan can confirm this for me?

If its only for 3 months then youll have alot trouble getting a sim from them as it requires a contract which they wont give you for 3 months. You can get a MVO sim now but I dont think that they support BIS.
