BB 8707g - unlocked - need help *urgently* please

Hey guys, I am here as a matter of urgency, and appealing to you BB-heads for help, as my other thread has attracted zero useful replies.

I have an 8707g which is ex-three Australia, and was given to me by a friend, unlocked, and I currently am using it on O2 (UK). I want to ask a simple question, and am hoping for a concise & simple answer:

If I purchase a BlackBerry package from my carrier (O2 UK, prepay), will I be able to use BB services immediately, or is there other red tape to wade through?.

I appreciate any help - this is rather urgent!
