assigning convenience key

i finally broke down and introduced myself to Mr. Blackberry. i got the 8703e off of ebay. so far, it is a little difficult to navigate. my question is...how can i assign the center/front convenience key to 'SELECT' something...basically, i am fine using the scroll to navigate, but can i use the conv. key to select something once i have scrolled to it...using scroll button to select gets a bit tedious...HELP???!!!

Try the 'bent arrow' key on the lower right of your keyboard. And you can scroll vertically by pressing the 'alt' key while scrolling. Hope this helps.

Oops- Forgot to mention- the convenience keys can be set in- options (wrench icon)> screen/keyboard- scroll to bottom.

yeah go to options and then screen/keyboard.
