8703e password

i got a 8703e verizon on ebay im planning on flashing it to metro pcs anyway when i turn it on it says new password i try putting a password but it wont work even when i retype it it will say it has to have a letter didget and special character no matter what i type it says this does anyone know if i can still flash it will i need to get rid of the password thing im new to this bb stuff
