8703e as modem - outlook 2003 problem

Using advice from crackberry posts I have been able to tether my US Cellular 8703e to my laptop, connect to the internet and receive email with Outlook 2003. However, I cannot send email using my Outlook. Any suggestions?

You need to change your outgoing mail server information in Outlook when you are using the BB 8703e as a modem. Outlook is trying to use the outgoing mail server settings for your other data connection and therefore, your messages will not send. US Cellular should have this information for you if you contact customer support. The server should be something like smtp.uscc.net.
