I am puzzled as to why the keyboard on the 8703e is setup the way it is. Why is the ALT key for numbers, and the NUM key for capital letters? Is it me, or does this seem strange?

This is my ONLY complaint about my 'berry.

I guess when everything else is perfect, you tend to get a bit spoiled.

I agree, that is weird. Everything else is crazy awesome on this badboy. I have another question along the same lines. How do you make it lock? Like cap lock and num lock. I hate having to push alt before every keystroke when I'm typing and I have a long number to type.

JJ,

To do a Number lock, hit ALT then NUM. To deactivate, hit either of those keys.

To do a Caps lock, hit ALT then CAP. To deactivate, hit CAP. Hitting ALT when in caps-lock mode only deactivates it for one keystroke.
