Default 8703e browser/time and date issue

I just bought an 8703e (for Sprint) on ebay. It was new in box and according to Spring store never been used. Two issues. It keeps changing the set time/date to something else. No internet browser icon. I can get on to blackberry help website but no other one. I get an "http error 400:bad request. the server could not understand the page request, or was unable to process it for some reason. please try loading a different page." On phone last night with Spring support for 2 hours. No change. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you have Sprint setup BlackBerry data service on your account? Did you register the phone online, setup email and send Service Books? These steps are strong contenders to fix the problems.

Take a look at http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/blac...e-series-4716/ and see if it helps
