Default 8700c hard reset instructions help

I just received a used 8700c blackberry. currently it has all the old information still on there, including the former email addy. I have no manual, sync software disc, data cable, etc. just the blackberry itself. I was wondering if there was any way I can hard reset the device and have it load the default software (currently I have no browser). I know you can do this with devices that carry the windows mobile x.x software. would greatly appreciate the help.

Will this work for another issue? I purchased a used 8700c as well, however when setting up email, i get a message that says account exists for this PIN. I can't seem to clear it and the carrier is not offering to reset it. May just bail on AT&T and start up a new account? Any help?
