8700c crashes, freezes & reboots itself

My 8700c (purchased in Jan '10 from Tiger Direct) started crashing, rebooting and freezing the week after the 30 day warranty expired. I installed the available OS update (don't remember which one) & still have the problem. Bought a new battery from Crackberry.com last week & still have the same problem.

I love the phone because of the side wheel and do not want to give it up. HELP!!

Mine does it too. I check my memory drain a bit more now. Lots of times it reboots itself when you run out. I reboot it in the morning before I leave for work but it still occassionally does it on its own.

Same thing happened to me, i resolved by replacing the battery.
