Default 8700 downgrading problem :-(

Hey fellows!

I need some support.
I have got a 8700 as a secound phone and I really love it!
But there is a problem with it, it's running on a 4.5.... Software.

I want to downgrade it back to a 4.2 (or to an older one).

Is there still a 4.2. or older software available?

The 4.5... is running great, but the "double keyboard unlock" is driving me mad!
I hate to press the trackwheel to unlock it AND then to press " *+ the green button"!
The older version was better - just hit the wheel and "ready to use".

I tried to wipe the phone with the "settings-trick", but it did just wipe all apps and my phonebook.
The 4.5. is still on it.

Hope to find some help! :-(

Did you go to the RIM website and see if there was an older version there?
