SMS in 7130e???

Hi! I've had a 7130e for the past few months and, although I can receive text messages, I can't seem to be able to send them. When I click on a name in my address book "Compose SMS" or anything similar is never available. Do I need a data plan or something for this? I've had several other phones on this number and have never had a problem texting... any help would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest you follow the steps in this procedure to resend your service books: How to Resend Service Books
If these steps don't help, a call to Customer Service is next. You'll be able to tell them you re-sent the service books already.
