I have a new 7100i (which I love!) with 2 email accounts. One of my accounts (cox.net) receives email no problem - though sometimes it's delayed by up to 20 minutes or more. The other account is hotmail - I am not getting any of these messages. Can anyone tell me whether this is fixable or do I have to change email addresses? Would an AOL email have the same problem? Thanks in advance for your help.
I've had no luck with Hotmail on my BB's. Yahoo, Gmail, and AOL all work fine. I finally got the Hotmail to add to BIS, but nothing I did would get emails through. I just deleted it and use Gmail primarily now.
chaz is right. hotmail doesnt use pop3 unless your a paying subscriber. and even then it doesnt poll consistently. gmail works fine for me. except for the mobile version with the icon that only has auto refresh for i phone.
