Which is better for a new user Nextel Blackberry 7100i 0r 8350i right now the 7100i is free on Nextel and the 8350i is 149.99 after 100 rebate and a wait to recieve??

8350i, hands down. QWERTY keyboard, better OS, built in camera, etc. The 7100i is definitely outdated at this point.

I had a **** of a time with the 8350 and had to go back to my 7100. All I can say is that the messaging on the 8350 was good for sending, receiving had to involve battery removal. The echo was terrible. We've had to send 2 of 3 back
