Newbie Needs Help!!

I am BRAND NEW to this forum and I apologize up front if I am not using this forum correctly. Some one gave me a 7100I for my Nextel account. I took my I736 SIM card and put it in the 7100I and the phone does work. I do not get all features like text messaging cause I was told my I736 SIM card is not fully compatable with the 7100I. Is there somewhere I can get a new SIM card for the 7100I that would get all the features to work???

Is the phone they have you a Nextel phone? From what I remember, Nextel does not use SIM cards...

I know that all Nextels use SIM cards, but I'm not sure if the Nextel BlackBerry uses a SIM card that is different than the standard one used in all other Nextel phones. Have you contacted someone at Nextel?
