Mutliple SMS recipients not an option?

My brother has an old Cingular 7100g with software version 4.0.0.219. He's trying to find a way to add multiple recipients to a text message, like most of our BB's can do. I have the Curve and of course it's easy to do with it. But there are no menu options when he clicks the track wheel that would allow him to add another recipient.

We've both searched online for quite some time and can't find anything on this. Anyone have any ideas?
