Hey - I have a 7105t, got it up and running with T mobile.

Questions: 1-word-excel will i be able to read or do i need a seperate program

2 - will the unit stream or play videos (internet or other)//

3 - can i sync between my computer and my BB and what do i use to do that? contacts/calendar/etc

1- Yes, with BeamBerry, it is very possible. other apps are Repligo and eCell.
2- 7105, nada on video streaming. Internal, no, you don't have enough device memory to allow a video on there. Well you could, but don't.
3- Sync, yes. One of the things a BB does best. To Outlook, preferred. Use Desktop Manager from BB.

Thanks - I found the data sync info after i wrote the thread

overall i impressed with the phone - email is a big plus

i figured i try this older model first before i pay big bucks (maybe for an new one)


do the newer ones stream videos??

right now, current BB models, none of them stream video in a good day, although the new 8130 is said to do it the best.
