Verizon does not use SIM cards, nor does Nextel. Nextel also operates on iDEN whereas Verizon uses CDMA so no, you couldn't do this.

lol I have a Storm, with a SIM, but thanks about the iDen part. Wait doesn't Sprint use CDMA? Or are Nextel and sprint different.

I had the 7100 on the nextel network. It was ok until sprint got involved. I switchec to Verizon and now relaize how bad nextel/sprint are. The 7100 is as useful as an 8 track player
