How do I disable e-mail?

Hello:
I'm taking a Mediterranean cruise in a few weeks and the even though I have a CDMA I will still be able to receive calls on the ship. Roaming fees will apply. I'm concerned that my e-mail being active all the time will eat up roaming charges so I'd like to deactivate it during the trip. Anyone know how to do that?

Don't know about disabling but I would think you could go into email settings and delete the accounts and add them back when you return from your trip.
