cannot sync BB 7100i on Windows Vista PC

I cannot make my PC Windows Vista reconize the 7100i via USB cable. On Desktop Mgr Software it shows disconected and when tried to make it recognized the 7100i it said that no device is connected. On old PC with XP it worked fine.
When conecting unit to USB carging port makes the unit to restart and then unit tells that USB port doesn´t have enough power to connect device.
I'm gessuing that unit is not ready for windows Vista.
OS BB unit is 4.1.0.382
Please advice.
