Question Accidentially installed wrong battery, phone fried??

I was swapping the SIM cards on my wife's and my phone, and I accidentally put the battery from my Nokia phone into her Blackberry(7130g), since then it appears to be totally bricked. (Does not charge when plugged in, does not power on or respond at all, will make a "USB device connected" chime when plugged into a Windows computer 1 out of 20-30 tries.)

Basically the Nokia battery has three contacts: [-][G][+]
And the Blackberry battery has four: [-][G][G][+]
("G" is for "Ground", assuming the non marked contacts are grounding.)

So my question is: did I fry it? Is there anything I can do to recover it? Am I off the mark here? Anything to right my way on getting this thing working again would be awesome, thanks.
