Hey everyone.

Trying to update my 7100i blackberry. Its been sitting in a closet for a while. It has OS v4.1.0.376.

What is the newest OS for it and where can I find it?

I have a blackberry 7100i that I have yet to activate. Is it true that you cannot text message from this phone????

Most recent OS for a 7100i on blackberry.com is 4.1.0.525

Most recent Desktop Software for Nextel is v4.1

EDIT: Where to find is blackberry.com -> Support & Service -> Downloads -> Access your service provider download site -> Click on Nextel Communications Inc -> Use the pull down menu to get newest files

That is incorrect. I text message from it often.
