Vlingo text not appearing in sent messages......

since I updated my Bold 9930 to OS 7.1. The text appears after I speak the message but once I send it the message appears as a blank message to the intended recipient in my Text message folder?

I have confirmed that my messages are being received just fine but can no longer see what I actually sent. Is this a known bug that is being addressed?

+1 on my 9850 with the official 7.1 release from Verizon. If I want to see the sent message, I have to initiate the message to the recipient in the standard way, and then use Vlingo only to fill in the body of the message. If I initiate the message from Vlingo, I likewise do not see the sent message (only an empty message composition template), but the recipient has received it.

I'd say that this is pretty definitely a Vlingo application bug that the Vlingo developers need to fix.

they replied that Vlingo has not yet been updated to support OS 7.1 and when I asked when that might occur they replied that they "are unable to provide specific details of our upcoming products until the products are announced or released."

Guess we're in "wait and see" mode. At least I know that my messages are being sent and that, even though not supported in OS 7.1, it works as though it is with this one little quirk.

I'm hoping that they fix the bluetooth compatibility issue as well when they update the app - it didn't work for me on OS 7.0 either.

Just came across this today as well. Drives me nuts. At least they so still get the texts...

I've been in dialogue with Vlingo about this (I'm still on 7.0**). They are aware and supposedly addressing it. Mine just shows as a little green box in the sent area. I absolutely love Vlingo, but it's a bit maddening when someone responds and I can't remember what I said in the sent message!

Today is Day 29 of my 30 AT&T Trial period. If my 9900 is going to brick (as my 9860 did just 2 weeks in) I sure hope it happens this morning.

To update It works if you just press the quick-key and say the text while you are in the text window... then you basically just paste it in... Quicker than going to the "reply with Vlingo" thing anyway, so my new opinion is it works just fine lol.
