I have been thinking of buying a 9900, but the only problem is, if I can use the browser without a BIS, by using this guide: bb.anworm.com
I did this on my 9780 and it worked fine, but it was OS6, so I don't know if it's possible on OS7.

Hi,
Want to configure My Blackberry Bold 9650 to use generic data plan without BIS.

I have done it for OS 5, by setting APN, but i am not able to make it work for OS 6.

Also on OS 5 i have only Hotspot Browser option in browser configuration.
Kindly help.
