Os 7.1 o2 uk
Hi, I have a Bold 9900 from O2 UK but am using a Vodafone contract sim card with it. O2 have just released OS 7.1 and I want to put it on my phone. If I load it onto my phone will it still work seeing as I am on the Vodafone network? I don't want to mess my device up but I really want 7.1...
Thanks

To be honest you could have been updated weeks ago, it was released by an carrier in Isreal, has a good battery but the radio file is a bit up and down. I have the 318 radio with 342 java. And thats on Orange UK
Bold 9900 with BL 7.1 BL Ultimate RC15
Blackberry Z10 with OS 10.0.10.1627 release os
BL Returns v3.0.0 for OS7 and v3 for OS6 - For links please see first post on the thread
AT&T 7.1.0.694 v4a Mix also available - see separate Hybrid thread - 04-16-2012, 03:24 PM #5
No OTA unfortunately, unless your network has released it. To be honest I wouldn't trust an OTA OS update.
Also, I have now reloaded 342 twice as I found doing a full wipe is the only way to get a decent battery drain. - 04-16-2012, 03:41 PM #7
Ah, it may well do. Its on the carrier download site but still would be very carefull if doing it OTA.
