delete carrier bookmarks?
How do I DELETE the carrier bookmarks from the 7.0 browser?

My BlackBerry browser is set to show thumbnail view. It has Opera like thumbnails and it is the carrier bookmarks. How do I change it to show other bookmarks other than the carrier as default?
- 11-12-2011, 10:20 PM #6 I think what you are referring to, as the thumbnails, are the most recently accessed web sites. So, those items will dynamically change as you visit different sites. They are not your bookmarks. To see your list of bookmarks, click the bar above the thumbnails labeled Bookmarks.

The carrier bookmark thumbnails are at the top. The recent history thumbnails are at the bottom.

Those thumbnails are not all of your bookmarks. They are your most recently visited web sites from among your bookmarks. To see the actual list of all of your bookmarks, touch the word "Bookmarks" in the bar directly above the top row of thumbnails. This will open up your full bookmarks list.
The History thumbnails at the bottom include all web sites recently visited, whether in your bookmarks or not. - 11-15-2011, 04:15 AMThread Author #9
I have calmed down enough now to say thank you for all the replies!
Here is what @BlackBerryHelp had to say: The carrier pushed content cannot be [sic] delete. You can hide the icons by going to Menu>Hide ^HF
