    Default 32GB SD Card?

Has anyone actually used a 32GB SD Card? I've got one that ive had in my 9810 and now in a 9790 and it seems accessing the media is causing MAJOR freezing........i use BeBuzz and my LED for text messages will flash a few seconds before the notification actually starts to play, but only with my custom ring tones. if I have the phone plugged in and it's using the default tones it works immediately........also, when listening to music (I have approx 1200 songs on the card) the phone is prone to random freezing regularly......it will show the clock, but the arm on the clock isn't even moving.......this has lasted for up to 30-45 seconds. I switched from my 9810 to my 9790 to see if this would resolve the problem, but it hasn't. This all started when i upgraded my card....

Both my 9800 and 9810 used the same 32gig SanDisk SD card without issues. More than 3000 tracks as well as pictures are on the card. Not a BeBuzz user so I cannot comment on that.

Maybe the time is here to backuop the card, reformat, and restor.

It could be. Another member said some 32's have been made with 8 X 4's so you have to watch what you buy.

I'm going to get a 32 soon and will buy a Sandisk again.

    Hope you find the solution.

That was me. I have seen all kinds of tricks played with microSD cards.

However in this case, the card was working so maybe the problem is just a bad contact between card and phone.

Try clicking the card in and out a few times. Also try connecting the card to your PC via a USB or SD adapter. Of course, the card may be dying but at least let's try and get the data off it before it curls its toes up for good.

I know that the cards actually are rated by speed. perhaps you purchased one on the low end of the spectrum.

Hey ive had a sandisk 32gig in my 9900 for about 6 months now and it works pretty well. I've had an issue with it twice before though, where it seems to just stop responding randomly and wont playback any songs that i have saved on it. I have almost 2000 songs on it and use it to store movies and files. I've also heard the same thing about some non-sandisk cards having problems with Berries so thats why i opted for the Sandisk.

you need to get your hands on at least class 4 memory card, class 2 gives problems for no good reason.

My Sandisk 32GB card is bursting at the seams. Worked for over 12 months now without any major issues.
I just wish my 9860 could take a 64GB one......
