As title says, whenever I zoom in, the resulting preview is very jaggy, unlike in OS5, which is smooth. Is this expected (standard behavior) or is it just my BlackBerry?

I'm using Bold 9700, Hybrid Berrylicious 6

At first, the zoom-in will be jaggy until it reprocesses the image. Then it should clear up (shouldn't take more than a second or two) - unless you zoom in so close that it just gets fuzzy (although, I think there is a zoom limit).

That's how it works on my phone.

It doesn't in my phone. What model is your phone? And what version is your OS? Do you use hybrid?

To clear things up, I mean when I view images larger than my device's resolution (> 480x360) and zoom in closer to 1:1 ratio, the preview is jaggy

At first, the preview is fuzzy, and yes the preview does clear up after a second or two, but it only removes the fuzziness, not the jagginess
