Default why doesn't my visited urls stay in the drop down address bar?

Before when you visit a site on OS 5+ the visited url would stay in your address and remember it so when you want to visit that url again you can highlight it and boom you're there.

Since I upgraded to 6 this doesn't seem to work or the function is removed?

    Anyone know why? Its annoying.

Im using the Torch with V6.X, in my browser I have 2 sections, one called Bookmarks and one called History. The layout makes a difference I suppose. In the History area all the past website sit there like thumbnails with just the website name, you can click inside the little window and will take you to that website. Im more partial to this layout.

And you can access the list by clicking the 'G' key in the browser.

Yea I see that but if let's say I want to visit a site I visited 2 days ago I would like it to be in my drop down address bar like it was on OS 5 its just quicker.

I guess RIM decided it wasn't important?
