    Default Vendor.xml?

    Why must we delete vendor file before upgrade???

    The vendor.xml file exists ONLY on the computer and serves only to identify the carrier that released that version.

    Deleting it merely allows you install a version released by another carrier. If you don't delete it, then the device won't recognize that it is installed on the computer.
