    Default UPDATING TO OS6,... STUCK at loading modules :S

    i have a blackberry 9700, first on t-mobile uk, but unlocked to all networks. im using an o2 uk sim atm.. i downloaded the OS6 update from the website as the desktop manager wouldn't find it... i used the o2 uk OS6 download, installed it, when to apploader in program files, deleted vendor then opened loader.exe.... it was upgrading fine till it to "updating applications"... loading module "net_rim_bb_mediaOTA_blackgrounds_480x3..." where its been stuck for an hour... i can't cancel it, and i dont kno if it will brick if i pulled the USB.. how do i get back the backed up data ?

    there were a couple of files u need to delete, to enable the t-mo hardware to accept OS6, did you not read what's required, couple of themes. Simply nuke it and reload.

    The TMO theme files?

    That was only required on very early OS6 leaks, and only for TMO US users, not UK.

    Lol i don't have a tmo device and from what he said he got an older o2 os6 release?

    how do i delete these files, btw i have nuked it, and it pretty much loads 2/3 at the start up screen then freezes.... what now ?

    the latest one... the one thats on the blackberry site right now.. o2-uk for blackberry 9700 bold

    problem sorted ... not liking OS6 to be honest... looks fancy and advanced but slightly complicated.

    Just head on over to the Themes Forum and install yourself a simple OS6 theme... then you'll love it
