Putting OS6 onto a 9700

Hiya, I got a 9700 today from a friend and I want to put OS6 onto it.

Is there an easy way? Will it muck up the phone?

It's also foreign so the Z and Y have switched places on it, will this be affected?

Thanks for any help. I've got an 8520 and was really looking forward to OS6 (my friend thought hers was a 9780).

Simply use the desktop software (5 or 6) and in application management, you can update it via your computer. The Desktop Software will choose the right os for you
