Default International Calling Cards and Smart Extension Method

Basically when I am calling the US from UK, I am using one of the international call cards...

Luckily the service I use recognizes my number so as soon as it is connected, I need to enter the number I wish to dial.

THE PROBLEM is though, it is very hard when I am dialing a number from my blackberry contacts that I didn't memorize. Is there a smart dialing way where when I call one of my US numbers from my contacts list, it calls the international calling number PAUSES (p) then enters the contact's number?

Thanks guys!

Or is there a 3rd party service (Vopium etc) that would do this? (I can easily give up on the service number I am using)

I use Easydialer. It has a free trial. Give it a shot. Here's the best thing about it...

You first configure your calling card including access number and your pin/account. Then, you'll see that Easydialer has added a menu choice so that any time you have selected a phone number or contact and hit 'menu' you have a choice called "Call with Easydialer". It will then do all the work you've just described...it will dial the access number, the number you selected and your pin. It can be configured to dial these in whichever order your phone card provider requires.

I have no relation to Easydialer other than just a satisfied user. It does cost a few bucks. I started using it before it was acquired and acquired again, and can't live without it. I think it goes for about US$10 on AppWorld.

You can add a pause which will pause for 3 seconds and then enter the numbers automatically or you can use a wait which will enter the numbers after you press the trackpad.

I use BlaCaDa19 and it has worked well for me. And, best of all it's free.

Good luck.
