Default "Error starting null: null"/How to remove bad shortcut??

I have a 9650 on Verizon with OS6.0.0.524. I had Bolt installed and marked as a favorite. Recently, I started it and it informed me of an available update, so I let it install. Now, I have an icon in my favorites thats just a grey box, but still labelled "Bolt". Clicking it produces the messages "Error Starting Null:Null". There's no corresponding shortcut on the All page. Any idea how to get rid of it?
The new Bolt did install just fine, BTW, and created a new icon.

    Many thanx.

Have you tried a battery pull? I do this pretty much every time I upgrade or install something new. Good luck
