BlackBerry 6 Forum Now Open!
With BlackBerry 6 and RIM's new WebKit browser highly-anticipated and a fairly significant step forward for RIM, I figured it was time we get a dedicated forum started for it.
We'll keep this high in the forums for now so it's easy to find, and as BlackBerry 6 gets released publicly to devices we'll move this back down into the regular BlackBerry discussion forums. Just do keep things clean, we will separate out BlackBerry 6 as a new forum from our standard BlackBerry OS Discussion forum (which will remain open and active for 4.x and 5.x devices - will do a little re-branding to make it clear).
I think this makes sense. Keeping so many forums organized gets tricky no matter how you arrange it, but I think BlackBerry 6 is distinct enough - especially since RIM has really branded this release, that it warrants its own section.
Enjoy the forum!Kevin Michaluk

Slowly but surely, the mods will move the 6.0 threads to this Forum, BUT give us time.

This is RIM's Waterloo (pun intended). If 6.0 doesn't live up to the hype and bring the BB platform up to speed with Android and iOS, this could be the beginning of the end. They are becoming the Microsoft of the smartphone world (protecting their core business at the expense of innovation) and they need to get it right this time. I hope they do because it will be a sad, sad day if I have to trade in my BB. It's bad enough my dollar is called a Loonie, don't make me use a Google Phone!

Well I can hold my upgrade a few more months I guess. The trigger has been cocked since last November, but my Bold 9000 has been very dependable and I haven't "needed" a new phone. We will see.

Like everyone else, I'm waiting patiently and in anticipation for BB OS 6.0.
